Quick dry

Really enjoyed your show Stubbsy on thursday ( only heard a bit) . Thanks for such honesty about really difficult issues; such openess to the great hidden treasures of lifes adventures ,often covered over by the good times.
It was a welcome reminder to all of us that failure, loss and grief of our favourite treasures is not the end : loss of good things does not mean we won't be granted new ones (Thursday). For me the " baptism" is best thought of , not as a once off, but a daily thing. Sure you get comfortable and forget to be part of it , but even a weekly reminder is a really good and common way of "doing it" .

In a somewhat paradoxical way, your first caller made a specific counter point in a way even he , i think did not realise. Even with all the pain, we don't always learn.
For those who seek only freedom out of pain, there are often only fads and fashion - the passing, the ephemeral .the lonely
Your caller's celebration of bus driving( seeing the world ) ,reminded me of how much better it is to focus your life on participating than to focus your life on watching . Participating makes watching too, much more interesting .
We are bits of chickens, and often have to get pushed shoved and in our own ignorance and arrogance ----over the edge .
Bless you mate in the search, and gudday to ya for lightening up those dark corridors.
