Faine - Can't get the names right

Female Guest on Jon Faine's program FRIDAY has to remind this chameleon that he, after many weeks of introducing her , still hasn't got her name right.
Symbolic indeed . Jon is often on the chase, but he's not exactly sure what he is chasing . The evil is there somewhere and like the terrier he is - he can smell it .But smelling skills are not enough - infact they aren't very intellectual as is his program ( how often does Mr feine tell us what the solution instead of the guest)
The problem for this feelings orientated post evreytehing is that naming is a primary school skill. We are indeed in need of a education revolution . One that grows up and truly moves on . Not sure the reactionaries are going to get their money's worth from the budget - target the problem and you may have some hope of solving it ( but that's a entirely different question )

The author from THE MONTHLY laughed at the prospect of Jon going off to get some training . So did we!!!!,... but not for long? Trainable? - no way ! ABC ought to be more of conduit for variety not predictable controld agents . And if he is trainable , he's had his chance . . For to long Jon has controlled the feelings first ask questions later approach that makes his show one of the most high aimed but low horizon outcome stimulants around. ( see this blog for ways to make it better!)
Lucky he has some open line and some guests who get a word in edgeways.

GOD indeed has a sense of humor ( why not, he invented it ? )to not allow this flaw in Jon's approach to not until now? come to his direct attention and work approach .Others can see it , but can he ? Wonder if Rudds team know where they are taking us with their education revolution .From primary consideration of the names of the components to the tertiary training in the much more challenging and professional business of naming " solutions".
